Set//Adrift Release New Single “Regret”

While everybody is getting ready to cap off their year and focus on their 2025 plans, Set//Adrift wasn’t going to let us go without one last single to celebrate how amazing this past year has been for the band.

Set//Adrift released “Regret” this past Friday and I have single handedly been responsible for many of the streams since then and contrary to the songs title I definitely do not regret it. Okay no more terrible puns, let's get to the song.

“Regret” is a perfect blend of the band’s melodic choruses and fast paced guitars. The song kicks off with immense energy, high intensity drums and aggressive guitars, but before you start to settle into the intro we quickly fade into the main chorus riff. This section is exactly what I love about the band. Melodic choruses are my absolute favorite mixed with Joshua’s emotionally charged lyrics, you will have the line “To love is to regret” haunting you throughout your day. In a good way I promise.

Set//Adrift has had a truly amazing year with some great releases and memorable shows, but this song was the perfect way to lead us into what the band has in store for the upcoming year. If you want to know what it feels like to be an early fan to a band who is incredibly special then start by listening to “Regret” and just work backwards. You will absolutely not regret a second.
